Which American products/coroporations have spread to other countries around the world? What is it about American products/corporations that have caused them to spread (as opposed to other products/coroporations)?
Nestle in India.
American products have expanded to other countries because most coroprations do not have only one product and that allows the company to be diverse. For example, Nestle have a variety of products that deal with chocolate (such as Nestle Crunch bars and Nestle Cocoa powder) and bottled water.

What positive and negative impacts do these products/coroporations have? How could they alter local cultures?
Positive - Spreading the brand name over more countries.
Negative - Changing the natives' culture.
Certain products can alter local cultures by changing what is considered normal. An example of a normal custom would be how much clothing some women wear in the Middle East.

Why is the American market so dominant?
The American market is dominant because not only does the United States use its own textiles, it also uses other countries' textiles.
What role do other countries play in cultural globilization? How do other countries contribute to American culture?
Other countries play the role of combining their past and the present views together. As far as other countries combining their cultures with the American culture goes along the same lines, but with the American culture it would be seperated from the mainstream world.
Do you feel uncomfortable or threatened by foreign products? Why or why not? Do you think other American are? Why or why not?
I don't feel threatened by foreign products because the American market is well stabilized.
